As head coach of the bulldogs Coach Vasey has had seven consecutive winning seasons and his teams have won the Northeast Football Conference title four times in the last five years compiling a 25-5 NEFC conference record during that period. The bulldog football program is also the only team in the Northeast Football Conference history to win three consecutive conference championships in 2007, 2008, 2009. At the conclusion of the 2011 season the Bulldogs were invited to the prestigious Valley of the Sun Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, where they captured a thrilling 26-25 victory over Glendale CC and a #8 final ranking in the NJCAA final poll. During the 2010 season Coach Vasey achieved a coaching milestone, becoming the Dean College head football coach with the most wins in the school’s history. Coach Vasey is a 1984 graduate of the University of Nebraska, and has over 29 years of successful football coaching experience at the high school and collegiate level. Coach Vasey was voted Northeast Football Conference ‘Coach of the Year” in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. In 2006 Coach Vasey was inducted into the Rhode Island High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
The coaching staff for The
BullDog Football School will consist of college, high school and youth
coaches. The Dean College football staff will serve as the host for
the school. Many current and former college players will serve as
counselors for the school. |
